The Planning/Land Use Division has the responsibility of managing Planning for the town. The department provides staff assistance to the Planning Board and general public. The department will encourage business growth by providing valuable information to both new and existing businesses who would like to either locate or expand in Hudson.

The Planning/Land Use Division team is here to advance the Town of Hudson as we continue through the early years of the 21st Century. If there are issues that they can assist the public with, please feel free to contact their office.

We are located in Town Hall and encourage residents and business owners to contact us with any concerns or questions related to Planning.

Our Town Planner coordinates development plans for the Planning Board and attends Planning Board meetings held on the second, third and fourth Wednesday's of each month.

Seeking a Citizen Volunteer for the Capital Improvements Committee

The Capital Improvements Committee recommends a program of municipal capital improvement projects to the Planning Board, Board of Selectmen, and Budget Committee.  Committee members evaluate proposed projects according to their urgency, based on information supplied by each of the Town’s departments.

The citizen volunteer will be expected to attend several Committee meetings on Monday nights during April and May. Meetings will be held in the Buxton Meeting Room in Town Hall at approximately 7:00 P.M. and each meeting will last about 2 hours.
