Hazardous Waste & Electronics Disposal
Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Collection Dates:
The next collection dates will be: April 14, May 5, and June 7, 2012.

Electronics can also be recycled for a fee at R.S.T. Reclaiming Co., Inc., 66B River Road, Hudson, 603-595-8708
TVs and CRT Monitors as well as Freon Appliances can be picked up at curbside by Pinard Waste for a fee. You can contact them at 1-800-675-7933 if you would like to schedule a pick-up. They accept credit cards or checks payable to Pinard Waste Systems.
Acceptable Hazardous Waste items: Pesticides, Insecticide, Herbicide, Muriatic Acid, Antifreeze, Mixed Gasoline, Oven Cleaner, Photo Chemicals, Ni-CAD Batteries, Rodent Killer, Drain Clean, Varnish, Coal Tar Driveway Sealer, Paint Thinner, Oil Based Paint, Paint Stripper, Lithium Batteries, Lead Based Paint, Pool Chemicals.
Acceptable Electronics: cell phones, mainframe computers, electronic wiring, TVs, scanners, power cables, radios/speakers, printers, cameras, CD/DVD players, toner cartridges, recording equipment, car stereos, fax machines, electronic motors, personal computers, photocopiers, small appliances, laptops, telecommunications equipment, hospital electronics, routers, switches, modems, medical equipment, generators, monitors, scientific equipment.

Fluorescents and Mercury Containing Items – New Law
As of January 1st, 2008 New Hampshire State Law prohibits throwing items containing mercury (Thermometers, thermostats, fluorescent bulbs) into the trash. Mercury is a very toxic substance and requires special handling. KEEP FLUORESCENT BULBS, COMPACT FLUORESCENT BULBS, THERMOMETERS, AND THERMOSTATS OUT OF YOUR TRASH!
