The Town Clerk/Tax Collector serves a three-year term and coordinates all elections and town meetings, assisted by the Supervisors of the Checklist.
The Town Clerk/Tax Collector handles voter registration, motor vehicle registration, property taxes, dog licensing, and licenses (such as Vital Records and Marriage Licenses).
The Town Clerk/Tax Collectors’ office will be counting the ballots for the March 10th election starting on Friday, February 27, until completion. The ballots will be counted during working hours. Anyone wishing to observe the counting may do so during office hours.
The Town Clerk/Tax Collectors’ office will be testing the Accuvote ballot machines for the March 10, 2015 Town & School Election on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in the Board of Selectmen’s Meeting Room at the Hudson Town Hall. Anyone wishing to observe the testing may do so.
The deadline for voter registration for the upcoming Town elections is Friday, February 27, at the Town Clerk’s Office. The Supervisors of the Checklist will hold a voter registration session on Saturday, February 28, from 11:00-11:30 a.m. at Town Hall.
The Town Clerk's office accepts boat registrations. There is a $5.00 agent fee for each transaction.
