Department Responsibilities

The Town Clerk/Tax Collector serves a three-year term and coordinates all elections and town meetings, assisted by the Supervisors of the Checklist.

The Town Clerk/Tax Collector handles voter registration, motor vehicle registration, property taxes, dog licensing, and licenses (such as Vital Records and Marriage Licenses).

Motor Vehicle Municipal Fee Increase

The State of NH has passed HB 258, increasing Municipal fees for motor vehicle registrations from $1.00 to $2.00 per transaction, effective July 1, 2015.

Marriage License Fee Increase

The State of New Hampshire has increased the cost of a marriage license to $50.00 effective immediately, per Amendment 1 RSA 457:29.

Dog Licenses are Now Overdue

2015 Dog Licenses are now overdue. Late fees to begin June 1 and $25 unlicensed fines will be issued starting June 15.

Town of Hudson NH Election Results-UPDATED

A recount was held at Town Hall the afternoon of March 19, 2015. New results are shown here. Though the exact numbers did change for all candidates, the two elected members to the Board of Selectmen remain: Marilyn McGrath and Ted Luszey.

The Town Clerk's office accepts boat registrations. There is a $5.00 agent fee for each transaction.
