Department Responsibilities
The Town Clerk/Tax Collector serves a three-year term and coordinates all elections and town meetings, assisted by the Supervisors of the Checklist.
The Town Clerk/Tax Collector handles voter registration, motor vehicle registration, property taxes, dog licensing, and licenses (such as Vital Records and Marriage Licenses).

Filing Period for March Town Election
The filing period for the March 13, 2012 Town Election will open on Wednesday, January 25th and will close on Friday, February 3rd at 5:00 PM.
Anyone interested in declaring Candidacy for open positions must do so at the Town Clerk's Office, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. The Town Clerk's Office will also be open late every Thursday until 7:00 PM and will remain open on Friday, February 3rd until 5:00 PM per RSA 652:20.
