Department Responsibilities

The Town Clerk/Tax Collector serves a three-year term and coordinates all elections and town meetings, assisted by the Supervisors of the Checklist.

The Town Clerk/Tax Collector handles voter registration, motor vehicle registration, property taxes, dog licensing, and licenses (such as Vital Records and Marriage Licenses).

Ballot Machine Testing

The Town Clerk/Tax Collectors’ office will be testing the Accuvote ballot machines for the September 9th State Primary Election on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at 9:00am at the Hudson Town Clerk’s Office. Anyone wishing to observe the testing may do so at the Town Clerk’s Office.

Polls are open from 7:00am – 8:00pm

Boat Registrations Now Accepted

The Town Clerk's office is now accepting boat registrations. There is a $5.00 agent fee for each transaction.
