Family Well-Being

We need everyone to proactively support child and family well-being and to ensure the continued protection of our children, youth and families.

The NH DHHS created a Family Well-Being Guide in response to the challenges many New Hampshire families may experience including financial instability, food insecurity, and family stress.

This guide can be accessed in the supporting documents below. It will provide tips on how to check in with children and families to help them get the support they need and provide numerous resources that my be needed.  Please share this with others who have contact with children and families so they can do the same.

DCYF hotline: 800-894-5533 (in state) or 603-271-6562

Helping children and families get the support they need before child abuse or neglect occurs is just as critical.

Please also visit the websites in the Web Links section below for additional information and important resources.

Together, we can make a difference!
