Voter Registrations

Any Hudson resident, who is at least 18 years old, may register to vote in person at the Town Clerk's Office during regular office hours, 8:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. You must bring a photo ID and proof of residency and/or citizenship. The New Hampshire State requirements are available here.

Change in Party Affiliation

Registered voters may change their party affiliation for the state primary elections in the month September up to the day before the filing period opens, the first Wednesday in June. He/she must appear in person at the Town Clerk's Office during regular office hours to request a change in party affiliation and will be asked to provide identification. Any person may change party registration at any primary, upon oath or affirmation to the same effect, but he shall not be permitted to vote the ballot of any party at such primary (RSA 654:34(b)).

Absentee Ballot Applications

College students who are registered to vote in Hudson Town/School elections may request an absentee ballot; complete and mail it to the Town Clerk's Office, 12 School Street, Hudson, NH 03051 or fax it to 603-816-1292. Please include a copy of your NH Driver's License with your application.

Registered voters who will be away during State or Town Elections may request an absentee ballot by completing either the Application for State Election Absentee Ballot form and mailing it to the Town Clerk's Office, 12 School Street, Hudson, NH 03051 or faxing it to 603-816-1292.
