Police Bust Local Identity Theft

On December 23, 2023, Officers arrested Fernando Jose Amador Dominguez and Henry Moises Olivero Linares, both of Bronx, New York for charges stemming from an identity theft investigation.

Earlier in the month an investigation was initiated by the Hudson Police into a Hudson resident’s identity being used to fraudulently purchase electronics.

Due to this open investigation, Officers were contacted on December 23, 2023 by a local business that a male subject, later identified as Olivero Linares was attempting to obtain the aforementioned electronics. An Officer responded and attempted to make contact with Olivero Linares. When approached by the Officer, Olivero Linares ran from the business and entered an awaiting vehicle.

The vehicle exited the businesses at a high rate speed and was pursued by other Officers responding to the call. After a short vehicular pursuit Olivero Linares and another male who was driving the vehicle, later identified as Amador Dominguez, left the vehicle on foot. Officers were able to apprehend both subjects.

Amador Dominguez was charged with Reckless Conduct with a Deadly Weapon, Forgery and Conspiracy to Commit Theft, which are all felonies. He was also charged with Disobeying a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Governmental Administration and Driving Without a Valid License, which are all misdemeanors.

Olivero Linares was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Theft, a felony and two counts of Resisting Arrest, misdemeanors.

Both subjects were held on Preventative Detention and will be arraigned at the Hillsborough County Superior Court – Southern District on December 26, 2023.
