Part-Time Facilities Sanitation Technician
Pay $24.00 - $26.00 pending experience
Job Summary
Performs a variety of duties related to the cleaning and sanitation of three facilities. Will be responsible for following the facility Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as well as adhering to all facility standardized manufacturing practices
Supervisor Received
Reports to the Administrative Bureau Commander and receives direct supervision Lead Maintenance Technician.
Examples of Duties
- Responsible to perform the cleaning and sanitation of the areas inside and parking areas of the facility.
- Cleaning will include the common areas, restrooms and offices.
- Required to follow company SSOPs in carrying out your cleaning responsibilities.
- Responsible to operate sanitizing equipment in daily cleaning duties.
- Follow good hygiene practices and hazardous material procedures after qualifying training and or certifications.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations.
- Report any Food /Health safety related issues to management immediately.
- Report any damages to department facilities to management immediately.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Completes other duties as assigned by the Chief of Police or their designee.
Knowledge, Skills and Physical Abilities Required
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. without assistance up to 70 pounds with assistance constantly.
- Must be able to bend and reach for extended periods of time without limitations.
- Must be able to safely handle all chemicals related to the job.
- Must be able to stay on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work in conditions which may be cold, wet, loud and PPE is required.
- Must be able to walk and transport equipment from facility to facility.
- Must be able to climb and work on ladders.
- Reasonable flexibility and agility are required to perform at the required standard.
Minimum Qualification Required
- High School diploma or GED, preferred.
- Relative cleaning experience in a manufacturing facility, preferred.
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workload.
- Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures.
