Hudson Conservation Commission Trail Work Day 3/7/2026

The next Hudson Conservation Commission trail work day is scheduled for 10:30 am on Saturday 3/7/2026 (immediately following the site walk at 273 Lowell Rd which will be held at 9:00 am). The meeting point for the trail work day will be at the intersection of Hawkview Road and Gibson Road (parking on Hawkview). The plan is to walk the Hudson portion of the old trolley bed trail east to the Pelham town line and beyond to the ball fields near Raymond Park in Pelham (approx. 0.6 mi), further evaluating needed repairs and possibly clearing brush, along with fallen trees, along the way.
Afterward, depending on time, work will shift to completing the recently-cleared eastern segment of the Gumpas Pond Loop Trail at the Musquash Conservation Area, hiking in from the Hinds Lane trailhead at the Gumpas Pond Conservation Area in Pelham. We plan to be out for about 3-4 hours, depending on weather and work progress.
Any volunteers would be welcome. Some tools will be available for use. Participants will be asked to complete a waiver/liability release form. Please come prepared with warm clothing, gloves, good traction for snow and ice, water, and snacks/lunch."
