Notice of Vacancy – Budget Committee

The Town of Hudson is currently accepting applications for the position of Budget Committee member. This is an appointed position to serve until the next Annual Town Meeting in March 2026. A Budget Committee Member is an elected official, and this appointment will fill the vacancy until the position is on the ballot at the next regular election.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a resident of the Town of Hudson.

Position Overview:
The Budget Committee has nine members elected for three-year terms. They are responsible for preparing and presenting the town budget as provided in under state law RSA 32:5. To prepare the budget, the committee communicates with department heads and other town officials regarding estimated costs, anticipated revenues, and services performed to the extent deemed necessary. The Budget Committee is also responsible for conducting public hearings required under state law, RSA 32:5-I.
