Understanding Unregulated Contaminants in Your Drinking Water

Why did I receive this notice?

You recently received a short notice from the Town of Hudson about unregulated contaminants in drinking water. This notice is for informational purposes only. Unregulated contaminants are substances that do not currently have federal drinking water standards, but are sometimes monitored so scientists and regulators can better understand their presence in water supplies. The testing helps guide future research and decision-making and does not mean there is a problem with your drinking water. The Town is sharing this information to keep customers informed and transparent about ongoing water quality monitoring.
