Dog Licensing

Owners of dogs four months and older are required to license their dog by April 30th of each year (RSA 466:1).

• Owners must present a valid rabies certificate and a neutering/spaying certificate, if applicable.
• A late fee of $1 per month will be charged beginning June 1st for any unlicensed dog.
• Any dog still unlicensed on July 2nd will be issued a civil forfeiture fine of $25.00 in accordance with RSA 466:13.

Dog license fees are as follows:

• $ 9.00 Unaltered Male/Female
• $ 6.50 Neutered/Spayed & Puppies up to 7 months
• $ 2.00 Senior Citizen Discount for 1st dog only
• $20.00 Group rate for 5 or more dogs

Licenses can be purchased at the Town Hall or by registering online. A printable version of the application is available below.

NOTE:  The LAST DAY to register dogs online is May 28^th 2026.  After May 28^th, online dog registration is shut off until the beginning of February of the following year.
