VITAL RECORDS (Birth, Marriage/Civil Union, Death)

Vital records (birth records after 1918, marriage & death records after 1968) are not public records and are only accessible to immediate family members or representatives with a “direct and tangible interest”, such as an attorney or other authorized agent in behalf of the registrant or his/her family.  Proof of identification is required when requesting a vital record certificate.

Vital records can be obtained in one of three ways:

  • Applications for Vital Records can be mailed or dropped off at the Hudson Town Hall drop box, along with a copy of your photo ID and payment.  Please make checks payable to the Town of Hudson.  The fee for a certified copy is $15.00, plus $10.00 for each additional certified copy (ex:  $15.00 for one, $25.00 for two, $35.00 for three).

Please mail to:  Town Clerk's Office, 12 School Street, Hudson, NH 03051
